Medals system

A medals-system rewards members upon reached goals or certain events. Picture this: You've got a medal for nearly anything you can achieve in TAO and in DLs. e.g. Meal of...


* Respect
* Sportsmanship
* *Insert won tournament here* / *Insert style-specific tournament here* (e.g. Turtling, Rushing)
* Great Posting
* Dedication / Loyalty
* Headhunting
* etc...


Medals should be awarded by a certain committee, which consists of several highly decorated members (leaders/recruiters, et.) that vote for whether a certain member should receive a medal or not (private poll in hidden section). Also the committee is responsible for creating new medals and to agree on their design. Every member can suggest medals (one of the officially existing medals), except for oneself, by pm'ing one committee member.
A great thing about medals: You can make a official signature element for every medal, simply for the bragging rights! Oh and another good thing: You can create dozenz of different medals, and should have at least have a few that are easier to collect (e.g. for recruiting a new member), so that noone is left out and feels left behind.

No need to "install" them! The persons rewarded with a medal may simply add it (an image) to his/her signature. Of course admins and mods are to keep an eye out for imposters, that "steal" a medal by adding it to their sig/profile without permission! But I will gladly do that job
